About

My Journey

It is my mission in life to be a therapist and spiritual teacher, and I am honored to do so by using these beautiful techniques of EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and OEFT (Optimal EFT).  I am grateful to Gary Craig for certifying me as an EFT/OEFT Master Practitioner. I believe Gary Craig was a true pioneer in this field and one of the world’s leading therapists. I am also grateful to Sheri Baker, the director of Gary Craig’s English-language training center, for her valuable support and guidance.

Why I do this

Born in Crete, Greece, and raised in Athens, I initially set out to become a psychiatrist but was ultimately drawn to neurosurgery. Training and work followed in hospitals across Greece, the UK, Germany, and at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Because of a health problem (multiple sclerosis), I had to abandon my surgical career. Having always believed that there was something about health that is not taught in universities, I chose to address my issue with alternative treatments exclusively, discarding conventional medication. I worked with bioresonance, herbal and nutritional therapies, electroacupuncture, and more. I also refused to take a disability pension, as I felt it would place me in the mindset of being disabled or unhealable—which I think is a major obstacle to recovery. During this journey, I discovered EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), which helped me more than anything else, leading me to become a practitioner myself. I trained directly with Gary Craig, the founder of EFT, and I am proud to be among the few practitioners personally certified by him.

In my view, everything we experience has a deeper meaning. What I had sought in psychiatry, in medicine, and in countless practices for personal development and emotional freedom (psychoanalysis, Reich therapies, Gestalt, pranic healing, etc.) has now come together in my EFT/OEFT practice. And even though I performed countless life-saving surgeries during my medical career, it is only today that I feel I can offer true healing.

Finally, I am also an amateur composer. To me, music is a universal spiritual language and a powerful healing force.
